What is Zeo?

Zeo is a powerful, modern fork of KiCad. It builds on KiCad's schematic editor, PCB editor, and 3D viewer, adding multi-board project support, an AI agent, and more.

The core schematic and PCB workflow is the same as stock KiCad. These docs cover only what differs. For general usage, reference the official KiCad documentation.

Why make Zeo?

KiCad lacks some features common in commercial design tools. Zeo aims to bridge that gap. The depth of our changes required us to create a fork rather than an extension; we hope to merge portions back into KiCad in the future.
