Getting Started
This guide will help you get Zeo installed and running on your system.
Prerequisites
Before installing Zeo, make sure you have:
- A supported operating system (macOS 13+, Linux, or Windows)
- At least 4GB of RAM
- 2GB of free disk space
Installation
Choose your platform:
First Steps
After installation, launch Zeo and you'll be greeted with the welcome screen. From here you can:
- Create a new project — Start a fresh schematic and PCB design
- Open an existing KiCad project — Zeo is fully compatible with KiCad 9.0+ projects
- Browse example projects — Learn from pre-built designs
Using the Agent
Open the agent sidebar to start interacting with the AI assistant. You can ask it to:
- Place components and wire them together
- Generate symbols and footprints from datasheets
- Run electrical and design rule checks
- Export production files (Gerber, drill, BOM)
